how are we going to perform?

these questions often get to my brain

there's this whole pile of maths revision paper which was meant to last for the whole week

just some teasing about me being a T.K ( which i arent) and an aunty
fine fine fine..
i already got used to it
but still
i dont like negative comments about aunty

ytd was our day.
its really a great experience.

there are 8 bands who competed, including us
tanjong katong, bt panjang, deyi, yusof ishak, pingyi and springfield, west spring, jurong west and bowen sec, the most uncivilised sch ever.
shall explain in the later part

tanjong katong was the first band to perform
they are good
but not excellent
they arent as impressive as what our seniors told us
and i still prefer them in their 2oo2 SYF
their spinning of instruments was actually nth
one of them is so very slow
and out of timing
although my sch cannot do it
my sis said t.k did sth to their instruments thats why they can spin their instruments
and furthurmore,
their turning was kinda slow
but i like their music
esp. percussion
the bass drum beats were really solid
and the way of hitting is cool!
they won gold with honors.
which was kinda expected
although they arent really cool overall



next, our sch!!

claris told us that its our best performance ever
and she says we are better than tanjong katong
our music is much louder
fan wei diden drop his mace and everything goes well
although i played wrong notes for 25 or 6 to 4
but seniors say they diden hear anything wrong from a.p

she finally diden move for 8 min
the very first time
however,
although we have wonderful music and formations,
we still won only a gold

cause we went out after performing
deyi managed to claim gold with honors,
which was expected too,
cause their music is very gd and they used lots of money for their flags team
and even sent an american instructor over to help them
bowen won gold with honors
heard from claris that they are damn uncivilised
they boo-ed at us when our percussionists sticks up
even throwed bottlecaps ( i think) at BP'ians
although BP'ians diden do anything to provoke them
however
the best thing they ever did was to aim caps at crow

heard from seniors
getting bronze is really kinda lousy

yusof ishak students were kinda silly
they cheered so loudly which covered most of the music too
causing the low results

we gathered at the field after everything was over
and we stood in sedi-yah( error) position for at least 1o min, i think
BP'ians were really so nice!
they cheered for us, shouted our band cheer, sang our sch song, doing kallang waves

but it never came out
my heart kinda went down
until he said the three schools which will be able to go into the finals
i really cried
my tears just came pouring
lol.
esp. when the band played for BP'ians for the last time
i thought about how hard we practised, even though we arent as tough as the other members
and i thought about sir..
once we gathered at the back of the corridor outside national stadium
i really cried like mad
my whole gloves was wet with my tears
christine and nadiana cried too
even her
i saw her crying
i guess many people were disappointed
obviously.
on the way back to sch,
in the bus,
it was so quiet
i cried for a while
then slept
and when i woke up
percussion was kinda happy..
they are talking about whatever section dinner later, i think
i diden say anything,
just look at the scenery outside..
thinking what is gonna happen on mon, when shirlyn ong/ tiger tan announced our results




reached sch at around 8++
then mr gooi talked to us,
telling us to feel happy
cause we reached our aim
but i can see he's sad
everybody knows what's his real goal is- to see us be the best band, to win the best drum major, and to perform on national day
